Supporting Efforts to Improve Quality of Life
While Parkinson’s disease and other neurologically based movement disorders currently have no cure, promising research has shown that targeted physical therapies, such as amplitude-based movement training, can make a real difference. These therapies not only help retrain the muscles but also activate physiological responses that may reduce symptoms and even slow disease progression.
People living with neurological degenerative disorders often face more challenges than most, but they also continue to amaze us with their resilience, strength, and hidden talents. With the right support, understanding, and opportunities, they can live rich, fulfilling, and active lives.
At NWCO, we’re dedicated to helping individuals with movement disorders find that support, through education, therapy access, and community outreach. But we can't do it without people like you.
Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those living with movement disorders.

If you are interested in participating in Banner’s exercise and wellness programs, a one-on-one evaluation is required for class placement and membership. During this evaluation, an exercise physiologist will assess your current level of function, recommend appropriate classes, and answer any questions you may have.
After the evaluation, you’ll be ready to sign up for classes and begin your wellness journey.
